Holland Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Holland, Michigan.
Holland Country Club opened for play in 1922.
The Holland Country Club Golf Course has small greens. The fairways are flat and narrow. A river that runs throughout the entire layout and comes into play on ten holes, unless the river is flooding...but that's another issue. There is not a lot of sand to contend with, however the sand bunkers that are present are difficult to escape from.
Par for the course is 70. From the back tees the course plays to 5937 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5039 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 522 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 10, a par-3 that plays to 161 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 3, a 372 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Holland Country Club is # 10, a 161 yard par-3.
In 2008, the Holland Country Club closed its doors after falling behind on a $1.55 million mortgage. Part of the course was acquired by Ottawa County Parks Department while housing is being developed on the remainder of the course.
